User types for a business directory

    I’m trying to create a directory for businesses but allow non business to sign up a as well.

    I would like at sign up for business or non to be defined by user type.
    That’s ok, I’ve accomplished that.
    My question is:

    I have created the business directory with groups, I would like anyone to see the groups, but I do not want “non-business” user types to be able to join the business groups. (But creating their own is the point)

    Currently I have it set up that users select groups relevant “example: New York, restaurants, pizza, ” and they are added to those groups.

    Any help is much appreciated

    @farmer121     you can make the business groups either “private” or “hidden”

    Thank you for your response.

    I’ve tried setting it up like that but the issue then becomes that non-business members are unable to view the members in the groups (business only groups).

    I’m hoping there is a way that non-business can view the groups, view the members in those groups but not be able to join the groups designated for business.
