Override BuddyPress Template Pack CSS

I’m in the process of converting an existing wp theme for BP. I used the BuddyPress Template Pack, but it seems to be overriding my style.css settings. I make changes, nothing happens. So, what I tried was:

    1. copied BuddyPress Template Pack CSS into my stylesheet, then disabled the BuddyPress Template Pack. This worked, but I lost the admin bar.

    2. restored BuddyPress Template Pack, and tried adding

    ! important

to my CSS – nothing happened.

    What am I missing here?

    Thanks in advance!

1 .Keep hte BP template pack active.

    2. Go to Apperance / BP Compatibility and select “Disable BP Template Pack CSS”

Now, you can use your own stylesheet.

I suggest you copy the “bp.css” from the “bp-template-pack plugin” into your theme, and modify it, if you don’t want to override it.

    That’s what I did.

    Hope it helps.
