Wrong title, no name in header, search bear?

I’m new to BuddyPress. I was trying to set my site up, with WordPress 3.0.1, Darwin (BuddyPress BuddyPack) and latest version of BuddyPress.
A few problems I am having. On WP pages, the title is always just ‘Blog name | Home’; it is right though for the BuddyPress parts of the site and WP blog posts. How can I fix this?
Also, in the header there is a search box for Members and Groups. Is it possible to add a post search to this too, if so how?
Finally, the blog name doesn’t appear in the Header, which is far from ideal.
