I would like to be able to enable/disable document uploads on a group by group basis. Perhaps as part of the administration for the group.

The use case is that we want to create a site that has some public facing groups that will allow read only access.

It was my expectation that users with the “subscriber” role would be able to read the posts, comment and download files. However, they have the ability to upload as well.

I would like to be able to define two levels of membership, one that has the ability to upload files and one that doesn’t. In both cases, I don’t want the member to moderate the group. Thus I’d like to see the following Group Document privilege levels:
– administrator
– moderator
– member with upload access
– member with download only access

Am I missing a configuration? Or is this not possible with the current version?
