Hi,

I would like to display last 5 forum topics of all groups on my sidebar so I used bp_has_forum_topics() loop and it works great on all pages except single group page. When I go to group called “Music” then it displays recent topics of “Music” group only. How to display site-wide topics of all group?

I don’t see here any parameter which can help me – http://codex.buddypress.org/developer/developer-docs/loops-reference/the-forum-topics-loop/

So there is no solution for it?

hi @m1000,

you can’t call a same function twice on the same page. That’s probably what happens when the normal loop fires “music” content and your custom widget calls the same function for “all” content…

There is the same problem with this plugin.

It’s weird that following loop bp_has_activities can display all side-wide activities on each page but bp_has_forum_topics can’t do it.

bp_has_activities(‘max=8&object=groups&user_id=0&action=new_forum_post&scope=0&primary_id=0’)

yes it’s weird ! Did you asked on the bbPress forum ?

i use it on my static homepage, but he works also on the rest of the site (bp 1.6.2 and wp 3.5)

You probably need to style it a bit to fit your template.
