Activity Stream and Spam

Ok here is the issue. After searching the Buddypress forums, I have found that I am not the only one having an issue with Spam on my activity streams. I have 4 different anti-spam plug-ins however, they all seem to deal specifically with comments on the blog! They are working quite well, however they don’t do anything for spam on the stream.
Can someone direct me on how to, or where to find, a way of catching spam on the stream? For me this is a big issue, although I have unlimited hosting, I am on a paid host. (Webhostingpad) One of the big things for them is resources, and spammers are eating up valuable resources from the server that REAL people could and should be using. My site has been shut down twice now because of MYSQL activity from spammers posting on my Activity Streams.
I like Buddypress and WordPress, but I cannot have my site shut down because of this issue!
