@ggsalas to prevent confusion, go to Settings > BuddyPress > Settings -> Activity Settings and make sure that “Allow activity stream commenting on blog and forum posts” is unchecked. That way, if someone wants to read/comment, they either go to the forum topic or the blog post page.

Hi, I’m learning about buddypress and I find too confused follow blog posts in activity:
1. For each blog post and each comment is created an activity. Each activity have their own comments thread.
The result is that not possible follow all comments of a one blog post.
2. The activity blog posts not recognizes the post-custom-format
I think there must be a simple way to follow blog posts in activity. I think there must be possible “show” blog posts inside the activity loop.
I am the only guy that note this?
