Last name field

    I would like to add an profile field which is linked to the last name field in the WordPress admin section.

    Does anyone know how to do that?

    Is there any help for this? Other topics on the subject are 3-4 years old and refer to obsolete plugins. BuddyPress completes the First Name field just great, but a field named Last Name does not map through. Is there a solution please?
