Friend request not functioning properly

Hi there

I installed BP 1.7 and 1.8 and on both of them when I visit someone’s profile page and try to add friend from that page I receive the following error
“Are you sure you want to do this?
Please try again.”
Any hints?

@forallatlantis Have you gone through basic troubleshooting like changing to Twenty Twelve theme and/or deactivating plugins batch by batch except BuddyPress to check what’s causing the issue?
