Numeric usernames

    Hi,
    a member is trying to sign up with a purely numeric user name i.e. just numbers and no letters, but the site isn’t allowing him. Is there any way to make this possible?

    If you’re the super admin, you should be able to create it for him/her and then just have him/her log in to reset his/her password.

    you can add a filter to sanitize_user and change whatever you want. Just be careful since there are usually reasons why something’s been restricted.

    @suchaqd – yes I have already done that, but it’s a bit manual

    @crashutah – I am guessing it is to do with spam – I will think about whether or not to do it, thanks.
