Members is created as a page…add the members page in the menu…else just create a “Link” in the menu and name the link as Members and link it to yoursite.com/members/
Thanks for the input. Sorry, I’m still confused. I see what you mean, but I don’t see a menu for BuddyPress. I’m using the Twenty Fourteen theme, not a BuddyPress theme, so maybe that’s why?
When I go to Appearance/Menus, I do see BuddyPress under Edit Menus – which will allow me to check/uncheck the default items that show on the upper-right menu. But I don’t see a way to connect a menu to BuddyPress.
I’ve disabled all the plugins in the site, still don’t see any other members – for example, which i go to Friends/Friendships, i get the message Sorry, no members were found. I expect it to list all the members of the site.
btw – i’ve moved the testing of this issue to my test site
cchca.stevelescure.net – only active plugin is BuddyPress.
you wont see a buddypress menu…just activate the menu for that theme and customise the menu as per ur requirements..
in pages do you have a members page created?
if its created is it associated with buddypress memebers in the buddypress settings page?
did u run the buddypress settings which comes with the first install?
hi I have this problem when I look at my members site I have 20 of the same name for each of my members and it was coming after the new update og the plugin, what can I do about it or is the error being fix through a update to the buddypress plugin I hope you understand my bad English 🙂
as @boonebgorges has mentioned https://buddypress.org/support/topic/lost-admin-access-after-2-o-update/page/2/
– If you need to repair other users, I recommend that you use the bulk update tools at Dashboard > Users
thanks very much for the input.
I think I’m just (very) confused on how the member directory works. I expected to be able to see all the members somehow using the admin bar (upper-right). it seems I need to use the widget and add friends that way, or add the Members page to my Twenty Fourteen theme (which isn’t a good solution for me since i already have a lot of items on the menus).
I’ll keep playing with it – thanks for the help.
@carlsandburg the member directories (or list of all members) in the two sites you posted are seen at http://www.cchca.org/members/ and http://cchca.stevelescure.net/members-2/
I expected to be able to see all the members somehow using the admin bar (upper-right).
There seems to be some confusion here. There is nothing in the toolbar/adminbar which will show a list of all the members of your site by default. The upper-right link only show the specific logged-in user’s profile navigation links.
