How to activate Status Buddypress chilld theme?

Hi!
I am using the7 theme for my wordpress site.
I just installed the Status child theme for buddypress.
I copied all of the files to `wp-content/themes/
and then checked the `wp-admin/themes
but there is nothing is the installed themes?
How to activate the theme?
I need help!

Its showing the error, that bp-default theme is missing.
Can I override this error?
I am using the7 theme.

@arximughal You only need to activate one WP theme. So if you’re already using the7 theme, you don’t need the Status child theme anymore. As for the BP Default theme, it’s been phased out http://bpdevel.wordpress.com/2013/11/13/the-future-of-the-bp-default-theme/

@mercime actually I want to design the buttons and the tabs in buddypress user profiles?
Is there any other plugin or any other way to do this all ? ? ? ?

@arximughal If the redesign involves CSS changes then you only need to add those changes to your own stylesheet. Could you be more specific about the changes you’d like to make?

@mercime the default buttons and hovers in the buddypress profile pages are just simple one, like on this site.
I just want to make them look like my native theme.
I wanna change that, when I hover on some button, it should turn into blue buttons.
as in this site, on the top nav it changes the color on hove to dark blue, I wanna make the same in buddypress profile pages.
