Gravatar cropping tool not showing

The gravatar cropping tool is not showing and images are automatically cropping at the upper left hand corner of images.

I am using wp 3.0.4 and the platform free theme and bp 1.2.7

How do I fix this?

Please keep in mind I do NOT know the first thing about coding or php.
I can however copy and paste what ever I need to into what ever file it needs to go into where ever I am instructed to do so.

Are you using custom or default theme?

-If using custom, switch to the default and see if it fixes it

I tried that – activated the buddypress default theme and it was still messing up. Any more suggestions?

Exact same problem at http://www.fishwrench.com — running WP 3.1 and buddypress 1.2.8. Also running buddypress forum extras v0.3.0 and 1.3.2 of the buddypress activity stream.

This is probably unrelated, but the following line is throwing an invalid character error in IE8: $(#signup-welcome).p(;:last-child’).css(‘display’, ‘none’);

Hi

I find the cropping tool also missing in IE but it is fine in FireFox – so try firefox
