Cannot activate Components

Good day, I installed buddypress plugin but i noticed that I do not have the “group” tab in the left admin menu so I cannot create buddypress groups! I do have the Tab”Activity” though.

When I try to activate the component “User Groups” in the Budypress setting page, it doesnot activate !! there is even no button to Save Changes !

I also noticed that I am missing a few buddypress php pages like buddypress.php from the theme directory.

Could you help me?

hi @reuldereut,

have you activated “groups” component in BP settings ?
Have you a page for “groups” ?

Good day,
1) I try to activate the “group” component and all the inactive ones but it does not work !!
When I refresh the page, the components are still unchecked ! there is no a “save settings” button !!

I do not have a page for “groups” !! what should I do ?

read here first please.

-have you enough php memory on your server ?
-are you on a local install ?
-is site language english ?
-which theme do you use ?
-do you use other plugins ?
