how to echo a custom field

i have a custom field in buddypress profile called “duedate”

how can i echo this field, whats the right syntax

You can find the code (think, that’s what you’re looking for)

in your bp-theme (if using default bp-theme it can be found in /members/single/member-header.php.

how could i display a custom profile field like this to a group forum…. in the “/groups/single/forum/topic.php” for user-meta?

so it would display the custom field for each user that posts in the forums.

If you can help me with this i will be really thrilled!
