Temp fix: put the js file in the location specified.
Next task: find out why 2014 is trying to call it from that location.

‘Fraid I’m lost here – other than to observe the differences with other servers/hosts as this appears only (afaik) on wpengine with some themes including twentyfourteen.
wpengine have some mu-plugins on the install not all of which appear in the dashboard.
There are lots of js files in them ?????
There is also a plugin (hyperdb) that i can see in ftp but that does NOT show up in the dashboard (no js files here)
These are the standout differences and obviously server software on wpengine may be different to that on other hosts.
