Creating an additional profile page or user-associated page

    I need to create an additional page for each Buddypress user,preferably with its own custom permalink or shortened URL. The additional page should be publicly accessible as a standalone page.

    I’m open to suggestions involving:

    – installing an existing buddypress plugin
    – writing my own buddypress plugin
    – non buddypress-specific solutions

    I’m really looking for some pointers on where best to start. I’ve read that its possible to give each user their own blog but I just want to be able to give them a page for which I can develop a custom template.
