All River comments not seen in all themes – How to solve this?

In the activity stream Buddypress shows 5 comments when there are more than 5 comments with a “Show all X comments” link or button.
This “Show all…” works in the default Twenty Fifteen theme but does not work in various Responsive Buddypress themes like Farben Basic.

Is there any specific code snippet that can be copied into any current BP responsive theme so that “Show All” works?

This questions has a part two (if needed I will make anew post, but if you know the answer please help) – After getting the “Show all” view how you can cancel it or get the collapsed/number of comment limited view again?
