Create Custom Page of Registration

I would like to create a page for user registration and another page for editing the profile with more options, where the user will register with few fields and APPOs log it will complete your profile. I saw that there is many plugins for it, but we are using the BuddyPress and we have a custom Theme and when we use the plugin it overwrites the official theme.
Follow this Link (https://pippinsplugins.com/creating-custom-front-end-registration-and-login-forms/) to be able to make a plugin itself and did as mandated by the example but not overwritten the default BuddyPress login.
I’ve been analyzing this (https://buddypress.org/support/topic/custom-login-page-in-buddypress/) post too, but I’m still unable to run, some can help me? What am I doing wrong following the exeplos I mentioned above?
