Users not able to view the members page

I have a stange one, when my users clock on the members page they get a Forbidden error. This is a new site, my second BP site, all plugins are up to date as is WP and BP. I did not get this error on my other site so am a little lost. What settings could affect this?

on mt other site even not logged in users could access the members page but not on this new site.

Seems to be a pretty serioous error maybe in the database, even the admin’s can’t access the members page. Not sure what to do, I went over all the backups and all of them have the same problem.

Do you have any plugins activated aside from BuddyPress?

Fixed it, it seems my install does not like the use of the name “Members” for the members page, any other name will do it seems.

/members/ should be a perfectly acceptable slug to use. There must be a conflict somewhere. Likely some custom code or a plugin.

You’d think so, but I unloaded all the other plugins and still got the error. At least I’ve got a workaround.
