Buddypress when I don’t want Buddypress

    @3dperuna

    I have a multisite Buddypress install.

    Here’s the problem: Public pages are now asking for a log-in. I don’t want everything behind the buddypress wall. I want some posts to be public, others behind the BuddyPress login on all sites. These pages need to be generally available, without the login redirect.

    A default BuddyPress installation does not “ask for log-in”

    Then I’m even more confused… Why would a public page redirect to login?

    You must have another plugin, or theme option, affecting it.

    Figured it out… incompatible plugin (Theme-My-Profile, for what it’s worth). Deactivated it and the world returned to normal*.

    * Realize that “normal” is a relative term.
