Missing Pages?

  • I set up Buddypress on a theme I purchased on Themeforest which was made for BuddyPress.
After setting it up, Im noticing alot of pages not working..
When I click register it takes me to the home page (how do I set up the register page?
I set up a “test” profile to interact with my admin account..from the Test profile I am unable to view my admin accounts profile when clicking it from member list. Also, after sending a friend request, on the admin account I click the notification to go to the request page and I get a 404…among other pages like composing messages, etc,

    What is going on?!

I suspect the theme you purchased might not have been upgraded for WP 3.3 and BuddyPress 1.5.2 and those are issues you have to bring to the theme author. /they should provide free support for their premium themes.

    It has been upgraded though.
I saw something about buddypress not working if I have it installed in a directory (which is quite dumb if you ask me) could this be the problem?
    The sites directory is kreativempire.com/kreativkulture

Have you changed to bp-default theme, cleared cache, and see if error is corrected?

I’m having the same issue. I’m using a free theme, however, called Platform, by Pagelines. My register and activate pages are supposed to be child menued under my members page, but the menu doesn’t appear and entering the address directly redirects you back to the home page layout. Tried changing to other themes but nothing makes it work.

Yeah tried deactivating the theme and no luck…
Is it because I have it in its own directory? (since It is in a folder on another domain, not interested in paying hosting on 10 sites all related to one thing)
