Some help with the BuddyPress Album Plugin

Hey Guys!

I activated the plugin and when I go to my profile and try to upload an image I get the following error:

Your upload failed, please try again. Error was: Não foi possível criar o diretório /home/derekmelo/www//home/derekmelo/www/wp-content/uploads/album/1. The parent directory is writable by the server?

I`ve already set the permissions of all folders as 777, but I get the same message.
What am I doing wrong?

@derek-melo, you will get a quicker response by posting on the albums/media forums (https://buddypress.org/community/groups/bp-album/forum/) People who are most knowledgeable about that specific plugin keep a closer eye on that forum.
