BP Members Carousel Settings in Visual Composer isn’t showing member types

I want to make a page where a certain type of members is shown. I’m not a programmer. I use Visual composer to build the page. If i select the BP Members Carousel element within Visual Composer it isn’t giving me any options to select different member types. It shows “All” as the only option. I recently bought the BP members type plugin to solve this issue, but nothing changed. It might be a Visual Composer problem, but maybe some of you can help me out.
