Forum Default instead of Activity Default in Groups

Hi – So the members of my site don’t understand that the first page isn’t where the discussions are. Is there a way to rearrange the tabs in all groups so that the “forum” is the first page they see instead of it automatically defaulting to the “activity/home” page? It is super confusing for users as some comment in the discussion and some comment in the activity stream so no discussions are ever streamlined. they’re all over the place.

I found this old code to do this for “profiles” not forums but wonder if it will still work with the current up-to-date buddypress. http://www.buddyboss.com/making-profile-the-default-landing-page-in-buddypress/ Does anyone know how I’d fix?

Or does anyone know of a plug-in available that fixes it?

Placing it in your bp-custom.php file in /plugins

I haven’t tried it, and am a bit uncomfortable with the hard coded component names, but it’s worth a try.
