Help with custom theme.

I am trying to install buddy press to a custom theme, however not sure with editing the php. If someone could help me I would greatly appreciate it. I can provide log in details to my account

If it’s already a WordPress theme then you’re starting point probably would be the https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bp-template-pack/. If you follow a guide like this https://codex.buddypress.org/theme-development/theme-dev-bp-template-pack-walkthrough-twenty-ten-bp-1-5/ – that’s for Twenty Ten but can adapt.
