This bug was discussed several times on this forum in the past. The lattest here:

On the WP Codex : http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/human_time_diff
it seems that the word “ago” is included in the expression, so it has not to appear elsewhere.
A single $s is enought, it’s at least what i did in my translations.
