BP 1.6.1 Change Avatar page not found

    I have a fresh WP 3.4.2 install and fresh BP 1.6.1. When ever I try to change the avatar for both the groups and any users I keep on getting a 500 resource not found error. I have look Note: I am running the default BP theme.

    Running on windows server 2008 r2 no other plugins, Running in the root directory of the site not sub domain. no customization, built in bbpress godaddy vps

    What theme are you using? Have you tried changing to BP Default theme to check if issue is corrected?

    I would re-upload BuddyPress manually, i.e., via FTP/FileManager/etc. and deactivate all other plugins.

    that is what I done.
    everything is deactivated, it is completely fresh download and install. :/ I can’t figure it out.

    What you need to do is go on Settings > BuddyPress > Components. Now you should go onto Settings > BuddyPress > Settings and select “Allow users to change Avatar” or something. Hope this helps!
