cannot join groups

Hi
Can anyone help please.
I am just trying out buddypress and beginning to install some of the plugins but the first plugin I have installed as problems. However even though I click to join the group of the plugin nothing happens.
How do we join groups? Is there something else I should be activating?

@kar3n2 Which one is it? Have you deactivated it then?

Not clear, are you referring to your own installation or to BuddyPress.org groups? In any case, here’s some info about BP groups for your reference https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/group-settings-and-roles/
