BP-FBConnect and Facebook API Problem

I upgraded a build I’m working on to MU 2.8.6 today and noticed that Facebook Connect stopped working. (I have the BP-FBConnect plugin installed.) I thought the two were connected but then heard that a friend who also works with Facebook Connect, but not using WordPress or this plugin, was also having problems. The word through the grapevine is that it might be because Facebook changed their API. They made a tiny mention about it about 2 months ago when they discussed API sharing, but I heard the old API got turned off today. Any insight into this? If it’s an API issue, will the plugin be updated soon? Thanks so much! Y’all rock

It still works on my site.. So it might be a temporary problem.. Facebook chat was giving me a hard time today, and kept logging me out.. so they are probably working on something, but I think it would be pretty stupid if they did not implement some kind of backwards compatibility or let the facebook developers know ?! I’m not sure though
It’s working again… I guess somebody fixed something!
