Hey,

Is there an easy way to extend the current friend functionality, to have ‘Contacts’ as well? Instead of having to completely rewrite the Friends component. I’d like my users to be able to add people on the network as simple ‘Contacts’ as well as ‘Friends’…

This would allow me to have specific privacy settings for each type of user, as well as making the distinction between actual friends in the real world, and mere contacts or people they may have met online.
