I wanted to share with you a plugin that I just finished. BuddyPress Notification manager is a plugin to manage a notifications system of buddypress of all users.Administrator can:

* Manage all notification (enable, disable)
* Enable/Disable notifications settings page for all users.

I have Group Forum options in the Notification Settings also. Will this plugin deal with that?

Thanks for this — a very good idea. Questions:

Does setting various email notifications to disabled just a) set a default for all users or b) make it impossible for them to enable them? If (b), does it hide the option in the user-facing UI?

Never mind – I think I see the answer in the screenshot. But even fixing the network_admin_menu thing for 3.1, it doesn’t throw up the admin screen at all, so shrug.

Hi, I wasn’t able to access the link to download the plug-in. I hope it’s still around as this functionality would be very helpful! Is there a new link?

I’m getting complaints that the default notification settings are very annoying to my users. Short of finding a way to change the default settings, I’d like to at least manually change them for my users before they have the chance to get annoyed with so many emails.
