Is it possible to create a custom search which would allow you to search for members by location.

What I mean is :
The members profile has a field for their city and I allocate different roles to different members (lets say role A , roleB and roleC ).

Would it then be possible for me to put a search filed on the sidebar of my site which allows you to enter the name of a city and get back a list of onlty “role A” members from this city.
