Firefox and Login issues

Using Firefox I can go to the mainpage of my testing site and log in, but it always comes back looking as if I did not log in.
Still has ‘Log In’ at the top instead of the ‘My Account’ ‘My Blogs’ ‘ Notifications’ options.

Working just fine in IE and Chrome.

The credentials are getting passed through, because I can add /wp-admin/ to the end of my address bar and it takes me to the Admin panel without a problem.

Tested now on several BP themes, same issue, so it doesn’t seem to be theme related.

I have tried searching the forums here looking for answers, not seen anything so far except a post by John that sounds like the same issue, in a post titled “WP Administration Panel”

Anyone else seen this problem? Is there a fix for it? Am I just overlooking something?

    Hmmm, before someone asks…
Clean install of WP 3.0 downloaded this morning
    BP version is 1.2.5.2
    Installed to /public_html/
MU is subdomain and working fine

Those are the questions I see on the list that pertain to this…

    Nevermind, User Error!!!
realized I had not deleted cookies yet, don’t know what I was thinking, so I went in and deleted all cookies related to my site from Firefox and tried logging in, this time I got the menus like I should…

Okay, another step complete, time to start adding other plugins and more testing….

Have you tried clearing cache and cookies in Firefox?

I am having this same issue in Firefox. I’ve cleared my cache and cookies — but when I log-in the home page refreshes with the log-in box instead of showing my avatar and the “log-out” button. This works fine in IE, but not in Firefox.

I can confirm this as well.
    1) Download WP 3.1
    2) Install plug-in for buddypress
    3) activate buddypress theme
    4) Use FF to login, logout
    5) Go to your URL again and login it won’t refresh. You are logged in, but UI does not refresh. Chrome, Safari, doesn’t do this.

Same issue. When my users Login in firefox they are redirected to the homepage, no admin bar, and the login widget is still there as if they never logged in. If they navigate to another page on the site they are suddenly logged in. It is not cache or cookies as i have had them clear them and even go to the site for the first time and still having this issue. need an immediate fix!
