Hi (and thank you in advance for your replies),

I would like to have a WordPress page where every member on my site can participate in an open discussion. I do not want them to have to (explicitly) join any group or do anything special. Essentially, it is like a wall where everyone can contribute, with the most recent posting at the top (and the input field also at the top). Is there a way to use BuddyPress to do this?

You might want bbpress instead
