hi, is there any function/code to call member’s avatar specified by username, or ID, or…?

what I want is to show horizontal list of, let’s say, ten specific avatars (even if I will have to call the code 10 times)
checked google, bp docs…any help?

ok, probably, my solution is bp_get_the_site_member_avatar

as I understand it is for one ID, is there smth similar for several ID?

thanks for reply. yes, idea was to use this plugin, but it has some strange issue with last wp bp updates described here: https://buddypress.org/community/groups/buddypress-featured-members-widget/forum/topic/multiple-avatars-of-the-same-member-showing-in-widget/

therefor, I hoped that there is some other approach.

An easier alternative would be to use the member’s loop to generate your list:

where 2,12,46,233,365 are the user ID’s of the people you want to feature.

already was able to get one avatar with the code below, only don’t know how to add multiple IDs to bp_core_get_userid( ‘1’ ), but your method works well @mercime, somehow I forgot about this loop, thanks a lot!

@mercime , can you describe the way widget display users?
First of all I have notices that users are shown in random order.
The problem I have at the moment is that I put 22 users to display, but only 20 are displayed. Does it mean that there is a 20 users to show limit? Does it mean that remaining 2 users will be shown later, when next shuffle would happen?

cannot help with specific widget, but I assume that you should add missing per_page parameter, e.g.

bp_has_members( ‘include=2,12,46,233,365&per_page=22’ )
