I’m building a new site and I want to have a site directory on it along with the social networking aspect. Does anyone know if there’s a plugin for that or if it’s even possible? Thanks, appreciate the help!

There are Blogs, Forums, Members, and Groups Directories. What kind of directory are you looking for specifically?

Site directory, where I can list sites plus their link, summary, screen shot. Also I would want people to be able to upload their own information about their site like on blog catalog or technorati.

You could use Buddypress Links to accomplish that easily:
