New BuddyPress install

I’ve just installed and set up Buddypress on a brand new WordPress install. I have 2 issues. One is that as i am logged in as the admin I don’t get a “Site Admin” Option below the “Buddypress” button on the left menu, as i’ve installed an auto group setter plugin but i can’t set the auto group up without that option. And issue 2 is that i have installed the sharing documents plugin to allow people to upload files. Is there any way to allow people to download / view these files as currently its coming up with a 500 internal server error.. is it a problem on my server or is it something i’ve missed?

    Any help would be great.

    Another sub question is:

I have a redirect upon login for my site (as this is going to be a secure members only site) for users to go to a home page of a group. The Group page has a page called Home.. Where does it call the data for this group information?

@chrismitchell You will only see the menu if you use WordPress MU.

ahhhh that will be the reason why… so does the add to group plug in only work with WordPress MU?

Any further ideas about the 500 server error?
