the site in question is built on the genesis framework v 1.4.1 with the Metro 1.0 child theme and buddypress 1.2.9. the site was built for a client but never really took off. I received a message from someone trying to join the community to say after filling out the sign up form and clicking to sign up the page goes completely blank. This was the first and so far only bp site i have built.

When i look at the source code for the signup page i see

so for some reason the register now button is linked to the register page instead of
wp-login.php?checkemail=registered

i have no idea why or what to do to correct this – have been through – any help/suggestions appreciated every setting of every plugin and function

basically i see in the code that the click button action points to the current register page and not forward to login
