I’m having a problem finding where I can set the front page to be the activity stream.

Under reading in the dash the only options available to me are:

– Blog pages show at most

– Syndication feeds show the most recent

– For each article in a feed, show

– Encoding for pages and feeds

I’m using buddypress Version 1.2.3 and WordPress MU 2.9.2

You need to create a new WordPress page before this will work. Create a wordpress page, then the option will appear.

I need to continue this discussion as I have a very similar problem:

I have followed the advice given in the link posted by r-a-y but if I select the activity stream to be the front page I get a permission error? Please see screen shot: http://screencast.com/t/YTVmODU1N

Using wp 3.0 RC3 and the latest BP version as of right now.

Your bug is a known one in WP 3.0.
