Current structure of member profile: http://www.domain.com/members/membername
I was wondering if I can change it to http://www.domain.com/membername

is this possible with buddypress?

I just tried your advice, and it worked. Thank you!!!
Under ‘Members’ tab, all the links are changed to the format I wanted.
But under the ‘Activity’ tab, the links are still in /members/membername format.

Can I change that?

Only by editing the activity stream posts. The activity stream is generated once and then read from the database, as to generate it “live” each time would hurt the database too much.

Can’t I edit the activity scream template to show display the same link as in the Members tab?

Oh wait!
New link format works for new streams, older streams keep the old form.
