How would I go about removing the Tags box from the topic form?

1. Create a child theme of bp-default https://codex.buddypress.org/theme-development/building-a-buddypress-child-theme/

2, Copy over bp-default/forums/index.php to yourchildtheme/forums/index.php

3. Open up forums/index.php in your child theme and delete lines 35-36

Thank you for the reply.

I have accessed the forms/index.php file, found the lines mentioned and have deleted them but the Tags (Commas delimited) box is still on the form for “Post a New Topic. ” What do you think is wrong? What do you suggest doing?

I went into groups/single/forum.php and removed the code mentioned in the earlier post that was there.
