Hi,

When a user signs up to my site, they fill the registration form in and press submit. They then get the email through asking them to activate the account. But when they click the link they end up on the ‘/activate’ page with the message ‘There was an error activating your account, please try again.’ displayed.

Any idea why this would be?

I have the same problem. New users cannot register after the latest bp update. The activation is sent via email and once you click on the link you are redirected to the new activate page where this error shows: ‘There was an error activating your account, please try again.’
I tried using the key # by itself on the text field but it does not go through.

After a member signed up a page shows up telling them that they will receive an e-mail. But no verification e-mail i showing up. Have you found any solution yet?
