When people are not connected, they actually can’t read the messages in the forums :

Have you a conflict with your chat plugin ? Deactivate it and see if it works.

I have the same problem, only appears in Internet Explorer, tried turn off php safe mode as mentioned in another thread, no luck. Seems a few people have this problem but no resolution has been found yet ?

The mysql_get_server_info() error is a really, really low-level error. If it only happens intermittently, it’s likely to be your server or your host unable to deal with connection requests (or is throttling them). Best to ask your host first.

Hi Paul, I noticed the error only displays when logged out of the site, surely it would appear all the time regardless of login status ?
