I log in as administrator, but I don’t know how to get to the adminstration page at all. I cannot find the button that takes me there. Any help? I have been there before. When I initially set up the site, I accessed it and modified it. Now I can’t find it.

thank you, I knew it was something like that. I just tried /admin… forgot wp-… why isn’t there a button?!

Because it is assumed that before one installs BuddyPress, one would already have a working knowledge of WordPress basics In any case, you can always add the “Meta Widget” to your sidebar and you have the link to admin. Or, if you might prefer a link to dashboard in bp admin bar – http://www.darcynorman.net/2009/11/13/modifying-the-buddypress-adminbar/

It is assumed? is it :puzzled: actually it’s just irritating No reason for it not to be on the adminbar, I have placed a series of dashboard links as users are not going to be interested in having to type the url all the time. Adminbar is in need of a overhaul!
