I’ve tried several times to install BP on a couple of my sites. Sites are with the same host.(Powweb)
Each time I install the BP plugin through the “Plugin Installer” or manually and activate it I get “500 Internal server error” Telling me to contact my Server Admin. I then remove it manually as the only way to get my site up again.

I’ve tried to pre install a buddypress friendly theme first and I get a “broken theme” message when I try.
I’ve also turned off all other plugins and then installed BP but, nope that doesn’t help either.

I have no idea what is going on.
Can someone help, I really want to use BP on a couple of sites
