Child theme / theme edited?

I installed Buddypress a few months ago, edited the theme a little (ie changed “Groups” to “Classes” etc). I recently restarted.

I took everything off the site, WP and all. I then installed WP 3.2, and BuddyPress. For some reason, it is already edited (Groups is called Classes). I also noticed that there is a Parent and a Child.

I just want a fresh start at BuddyPress and not quite sure what to do here. Any suggestions?

    Thanks

Where did you make those edits? Check:
    – in wp-config.php; then open up wp-config.php and delete the line which changes Groups to Classes
    – in language file; go to your theme’s /language/ folder backup the poedit to computer hard drive then delete from server
    – or in file/s you copied over to the bp-default child theme, then backup child theme in your computer hard drive and delete child theme from server
