Permission issue

Hi, I installed this plugin and when I try to access the settings, I get this error; You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

How can I resolve this issue?

How did you install your WP, via FTP (manually) or via webhost script? Issues crop up if you installed WordPress via fantastico, scriptalicious, etc. https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/before-installing/#system-and-server-requirements

I have the same problem. The plugin was installed via the Hostgator 1click install.
