    These are all great new features! I’ll hope “global search” and “Post something to xxx” will also make it in the defaut theme, so that theme developers could adapt it!

    I noticed “add friend” was replaced by “follow.” Profile details seem private. And, I like the permalink button in the activity streams.

    Can some elightened soul explain to us simple mortals how can we achieve sitewide search and group meta ? In plain english would be even better…

    This actually should be described more clearly. It is ambiguous whether you are posting something to them privately or publicly (until you try it out).

    I noticed “add friend” was replaced by “follow.”
    Andy Peatling addressed this somewhere on testbp.org. The upshot is that “follow” is an additional module, not a replacement for “friend” (though you are right, on this site, friending is now disabled in favor of following, which I like a lot).

    Sitewide search and group meta are extremely usefull ! Some How-To or plugin is it plan ?
