I just received this error when I tried to upload an avatar pic to my profile:

Upload Failed! Error was: Unable to create directory /home/buddypress/public_html/wpmu/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/avatars/7654489. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

Thought you’d like to know.

Go to gravatar.com and upload your picture there.

It’s already uploaded but not showing. Still should be able to upload if it is offered.

Empty your cache, it will appear, it usually does not show up immediately.
